Invitation to Service: Eagle Scout Project THIS WEEK
Devin Gasaway (Chad & Mitzi’s son) is doing his Eagle Scout Project at our church. His project consists of building a new walkway in the Memorial Garden that will go from the lower parking lot behind the MAC up to the center area outside the Sanctuary. He has already constructed a new foot bridge that goes over the drainage ditch area and has it in place. The plan is to have two work days (if needed) as he will be building the new path which will consist of laying landscape fabric, installing new paver stones, and back filling with gravel and edging. The plan is to start at 9amtomorrow. If you are able to assist Devin with this project please reply directly to me and I will coordinate with Devin so we can plan accordingly for all of the individuals coming to work. If you can find it in your heart and schedule to come out, your help will be greatly appreciated. I know that many of you have talents and tools that could be tapped for this project. I will be bringing out my tractor to do the bulk of the heavy lifting of the materials and light grading, so if you can attend please reply directly to me and I will coordinate with Devin. Regards, Jeremy Bruce (FUMC Boy Scouting Coordinator) Jeremy.Bruce@pcm.com
Summer hours for the church office and MAC are 8:00—4:00 pmMonday–Thursday and 8:00—12:30Friday. This will be for the months of June and July only.
