Our Relay for Life team is taking orders for beautiful fresh cut daffodils. They are $5.00 for a bunch of 10. Orders will be turned in on February 28th and the Daffodils will arrive on March 29th for distribution. Please contact Glenda Taylor at 706-781-7528 or any Relay team member to place your order.

Firewood Ministry Needs Willing Hands.
Our Firewood Ministry partnership with Antioch Baptist Church has distributed a very large amount of wood to needy individuals and families this winter, and we anticipate a continued heavy demand. However, the number of folks from both churches who participate in this effort has gone down over the past several months. We really need additional help in loading, unloading, and splitting cut wood. We could even use additional chainsaw help. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact either David Kuykendall kandd2@windstream.net or Kyle Freed zep8997@gmail.com

Member Carol Rogers has just published a book of writings titled Heavenly Sounds which will be available at both desks. The price is $16 to be donated to SAFE house.

Please help us fill our 2018 confirmation class. The class will be on Wednesday nights (6 pm to 7 pm) beginning April 11 for six consecutive Wednesdays. The class will be led by me and include some of my helpers from time to time. You do not need to be raised in our church to go through this class. It is open to the community we serve. It is designed for current fifth graders. However, you are invited if you are a few years older but never had the chance to complete confirmation. This is the class in our tradition that intentionally prepares youth in their discernment to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Nothing is more important than this holy - life giving - invitation!

Consider Anchoring Yourself to Something Rock Solid:
Have you been worshipping with us for some time? Have you found a church home where you encounter the Holy? Maybe it’s time to take that next step. Prayerfully consider uniting with what Jesus is doing through us here at FUMC of Union County. You are invited to put your faith anchor down here. If you feel that now is the time, simply make an appointment to spend some time with pastor mark. He can answer whatever questions you may have. We are family here at this place of grace. And you are invited to come be part of the family with us. The Church Office phone is 706-745-2073 - ask for Evelyn - tell her you wish to make an appointment to see the pastor about membership. She is here during the day Monday through Thursday and Friday mornings.

Critical FUMC Open Service Opportunities: (PLEASE CONSIDER!)
Can you push a button? Then you have the background necessary to sit in the chair that controls what goes up on the screens. We have systems in place that boil it down to being that straight forward. Let pastor mark know if you would like to serve one day a month in the 11 am service in this critical role.
