First and foremost - make certain you spend time in the sunshine this week - it’s back! And it just changes everything! There is just something about being in the presence of the Risen Son…

If you think you might participate in a Red Bird Kentucky week long mission trip the first week of June (Kenny Engle and Pastor Mark are leading) OR the Connectional team week long mission trip the second week of September (led by the Connectional Team Leadership group of which Kenny is part), you are invited to the informational meeting in the Sharp Memorial UMC Fellowship Hall on the Young Harris College campus tonight at 6 pm. Both Kenny and Pastor mark and others will be there to answer questions. The cost for lodging, food, and all construction materials is $375 per soul for the week long work camp experience. It’s a 5.5 hour drive from the church. There are church scholarships available for the FUMC Youth group trip if needed. If you wish to go on your first ever mission trip, this is the way to go. It will change your life to be in ministry to the poorest county in the USA. Can you give one week of your life completely to Christ? Youth deadline is April 15 (we have to give up uncommitted spots after that date for the June trip.)
