Prayer Quilt Ministry: There is a new quilt in the Bray Chapel that is ready to be prayed over. Please feel free to stop by and tie a knot in it on the lose strings when you pray. The details are provided at the quilt.

2018 confirmation class. The class will be on Wednesday nights (6 pm to 7 pm) beginning April 11 for six consecutive Wednesdays. We currently have 5 confirmands registered. We ask that our entire church begin holding them in your prayers beginning now that this may be a faith affirming experience for all involved. Our current 2018 class is Andrew Engle, Ariel McCarter, Grayden Cobb, Lilly Collins, and Emma Landers. It is not too late to sign up. Simply email Shannon Burgess at sburgess421@gmail.com

Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Course at FUMC:
Rev. Rod McClarnon will kick off a multi week Dave Ramsey Financial Peace course with an introductory session on Wednesday night at 6 pm April 11. There are still full scholarships available to people desiring to take this class. If you wish to know more, contact Stan Wallace stanwallace@windstream.net

There will be a Redbird informational meeting April 10th at 6:00 pm in the Sharp Memorial UMC fellowship hall for the Adult Connectional Church trip in the fall. This initial meeting will provide background information on the Redbird Mission Trip, explanation of “work camp”, important dates, etc. and will answer any questions people might have regarding the trip. The trip this year is scheduled for Sept 9-15. Don’t confuse this trip with the Youth trip the first week of June - these are two different groups - two different mission trips.

Your Relay for Life team Spirit Night is Thursday, April 12th from 5:00-7:30 at the Blairsville Chick-fil-a. Please be sure to mention you are there to support FUMC & Relay for Life and a portion of the sale will be donated to our team! ~~
We are still taking orders for a variety of great Tee Shirts-please see John and Charlene Cook. Beautifully hand painted Luminaries to honor or memorialize your loved ones are $5.00 each and will be on sale in the MAC and Narthex during April and May.

Annual FOCUS gathering on Saturday, April 21st, at the Farmers’ Market!
Anyone or any church organization that would like to showcase their ministry please contact Rev. Mike Cloyd whoopiemike@brmemc.net. He is coordinating our FUMC presence at that community event again this year. Provide Mike with the materials/information that you would like to get out to the public. Mike will take some tables and chairs down early on Saturday the 21st, and set things up. Of course anyone who would like to come share the time from
8:30 am - 2:30 pm would be welcome.
