The UMM are providing our TACO Bar themed Cinco de Mayo (well the closest Wed. night to May 5th) this Wednesday - dinner begins at 5 pm. Please come and support the UMM’s ministry. This is a fundraiser to raise money to pay for the gas and equipment repairs for our campus care ministry. I hope we have a big turnout - it is our annual way of saying THANK YOU to all the people who cut the grass on our 31 acre campus as an act of service and love. As I said (with a grin) at all three services on Sunday - come help the UMM’s taco bar raise some gas money.)
Come be with us Thursday night in the Sanctuary for our National Day of Prayer Service at 6:30 pm. The service is designed to be a peaceful time of public and private prayer. Members of our FUMC prayer team will offer the public prayers interlaced with instrumental music that will allow every a peaceful time of private reflective prayer. This service is expected to be about 50 minutes long - come casual. Come talk to God with us.
And don’t forget the RELAY for Life take home box lunches this coming Sunday. If you wish to insure you have a takeout lunch - buy a ticket from a Relay for Life team member - or just go to the MAC kitchen after any of the three worship service this Sunday to pick up your BBQ box lunch - they are $8.
