I know you just got our June Monthly, so I will keep this short.

Our Youth Red Bird Mission Team will be leaving Sunday morning from our parking lot at 8 am. They will return the following Saturday. Please keep this work camp mission team in your prayers all next week - we have a full week of work ahead of us. The chaperones are Kenny Engle, Jacob Burgess, Ilka Lander and pastor Mark. The youth (middlers and high schoolers) are Emma Lander, Xander and Pearse Ledbetter, Andrew and Jay Jay Engle, Nathan and Grayden Cobb, Cristian Martinez, and Stephen Espinosa. The Burgess family will leave after the 11 am service this Sunday and catch up with the team in Kentucky. We all will return Saturday June 9. Our Youth Director’s (Jennifer De La Montagne) new full time job in Murphy will keep her from this trip - although we truly appreciate her leadership in making this all possible. And Kenny, thank you bunches for all the extra volunteer legwork helping to get us on the road. We could not have done this without you!

Lastly, please make certain you stay in the habit of passing through the Bray Prayer Chapel (across from the pastor’s office) and praying for prayer quilts placed there. The details of each person’s story are on each quilt. Tie a knot in the loose strings on the quilt for each prayer you pray. The Prayer Quilt team then get’s the quilts to the recipients. It is electrifying to receive one of this quilts. There were 7 quilts in there this weekend - they are providing the work of art quilts - you provide the prayers - it’s a match made in heaven! Quilts come and go quickly - we need your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
