I don’t ever recall having a $112,600 giving September before in the life of this church! You continue to show us what God’s Generous Spirit does as it moves among the people of God. THANK YOU!
I am so very excited about the Fall Festival - October 12 (9-4 pm) & October 13 (9-2pm). That truly is an “all hands on deck” clarion call as we join together in raising funds for paying off our MAC loan together. If you have a Fall Festival related question, call Stan at 229-326-0644.
I also want to get onto everyone’s radar that our 9:45 worship band OVERFLOW is holding another free Wednesday evening concert during the week of Fall break - Wednesday, October 17 at 6 pm. The band will play for a while, then the Youth will be selling popcorn and goodies during an intermission before the band returns for their final set. This is a free concert that we hope is an OUTREACH event - that only happens if you lead someone here that night. Invite your friends and come - OVERFLOW will take their breathe away (I promise - this unique blend of 6 people is just outstanding!)…what a gracious way to introduce (one or 50) friends to your church!
Please see the note below about our Second Missions fair on Sunday, November 18. If you want a Table at that fair that day to draw people to your mission/ministry area - see Kim!
Just a reminder, the invitation to unite with what Christ is doing through this part of the Body of Christ at FUMC of Union County is always present. Simply schedule a meeting with me by replying to this tickle to begin the process.

The best link to official United Methodist Church Denominational (Global) news comes from a publication from the United Methodist Communications office that you can subscribe to at the following website umcom.org
On that web page, click the large “Subscribe box.” In the window that comes up, select Weekly Digest under United Methodist News. You then get a summary email from the United Methodist Church sent to you each week regarding the major developments in core stories around the globe.
