(To the tune of Jingle Bells - over and over and over)

Sing to God!
Sing to God!
Singing all the way!
Oh what fun it is to pray
to God all night and Day!

Wasn’t Sunday a great day with our music ministries?! We are truly blessed with sooooooo much “giftedness” in our church. We thank everyone in front and behind the scenes who made that amazing day possible - THANK YOU!

And now we turn our attention to Wednesday Night. We will have a special feast fully provided by Ro and the Robinettes. It will be a meal that will have your tastebuds jumping in jubilation. We will also be recognizing the 2018 new members. Here’s your chance to see these new faces and put a name with them. And if you ARE one of the new faces of 2018, please, please come to dinner and let us get to know you. It will be special time of fellowship for all who come.

Pastor Mark will begin a three week sermon series this Sunday entitled “Unexpected.” Don’t miss any week of this sermon series!
God’s Hope, Peace, Joy, Love

Wednesday Night Nurture:
Menu: Chicken cordon bleu, vegetable, fruit salad, and HOMEMADE red velvet cheesecake. Meal compliments of the Robinettes.
Rod McClarnon will begin an Advent Study immediately following the meal at 6:00 pm. This will continue for the next 3 Wednesdays.

WANT MORE MUSIC? - Mountain Community Choir Christmas Concert (hosted at FUMC)
Sunday, December 9 at 3 pm in our FUMC Sanctuary - concert is free but donations will be appreciated.

As the Staff Parish Relation committee chair, I would like to share an opportunity with you.

Our staff works tirelessly in their mission to help us move the ministry forward here. We are so blessed that God has sent each person on our staff to share their gifts and graces they bring to the ministry here.

Each year we present an opportunity to show how much we love and appreciate our each of our staff for what they do, what they share and give in ministry here.

If you would like to show your appreciation for them, you may give a love offering gift until December 16th by placing your gift in the envelopes in the pew, designate it Staff Love offering and place in in the offering. We will share your gift with the staff in time to add to their holiday.
Thank you
Kelly Schuknecht
Staff Parish Relations chair

The Angel Tree will be up by tomorrow night. It will be in the MAC. Each angel will have a child’s Christmas request. You purchase said item and return it under the tree unwrapped.

Prayer Team will meet this Thursday at 5:30 pm in the Conference Room. All are invited to come.

The Men’s Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am in the MAC, room M-7. We have a consistent group of 8-12 men who meet for an hour and study the Holy Word of God. We have just concluded the book of Acts where we studied the actions of the apostles in launching the Christian church and are now beginning to study the Epistles of the apostles beginning with the earliest letter of James. We will be studying them in chronological order and discussing how they all influence one another.

If there are any men who are looking for a good Bible based study, please join us on Tuesday mornings. We will welcome you warmly and offer you some coffee, and now and then, some coffee cakes. Join us, you’ll like it!
