I don’t know all the details - but rumor has it that the meal this Wednesday is a pretty special! Dinner begins at 5 pm. Like all Wednesday nights that are not group specific fundraisers, the meal is free but there will be a basket out to receive donations to help us defray the cost of the wonderful meal. I hope to see you all Wednesday night after a dry and sunshine laden day!
I will begin another series of UM101 this Wednesday at 6 pm as a multi-week adult study on what it means to be United Methodist. I try to change it around a little each time I teach this class. In this iteration, the 6 (or so) sessions will be: Our Roots, Local Churches Spirit-Led to Mission, Baptism and Holy Communion, What We Believe, Salvation, and How Do I Get Involved. This course is open to members and non-members, new members, considering to become a member, and folks who have been members their whole lives. We will go from 6 pm to 6:45 pm in the lower level of the MAC - Fidelis Sunday School room at the end of the hall. Come and grow.
Thank you Church for such an amazing week of mission and ministry. To everyone involved in our 2nd Annual “A Night to Shine” - I THANK YOU! To everyone involved in donating over 700 cans of soup on Soup-or-Bowl Sunday, I THANK YOU!
