As warmer weather approaches, our very full CEC classes of 2 yr olds, 3, yr olds, and 4 yr olds will be making many trips back and forth from the church buildings to the children’s playground on the hill. Please drive lovingly, slowly, and carefully in our parking lots. If any of the teachers motion for you to stop, it means they are about to guide a large group of little ones across the parking lot. Please take time to stop and give thanks to God for the little ones on our church campus.

In our ongoing UM101 Class on Wednesday nights, we have encountered many topics. I am thankful for the large turnout we have had for this class. This Wednesday, the topic will be “A Methodist Understanding of Salvation.” With our large group, we will once again meet in the Sanctuary from 6 pm to 6:45 pm. The final session of this cycle of UM101 will be Wednesday, March 27. The topic on that day will be “Ordination and Itineration in the United Methodist Church.” If you have ever wondered how someone moves from pew to pulpit in our denomination (or if you sense God may be calling you in ways you do not yet fully understand), please come to that last class of this cycle of UM101.

Welcome our newest members (they get to be that for just another 5 days):

A mighty shout out to all the help yesterday! Really, it was supposed to be warm - but it was made warm by everyone’s participation. Under the direction of “Eagle Scout hopeful” Micheal Bruce, an army of folks finished phase 1 of our new “outdoor stage to be” on the hill up by the Men’s workshop. Our Youth are already planning on using that new stage for their Easter Sunrise service this year on April 21. We are grateful for Micheal’s leadership and all the army ants who helped over the course of yesterday to lay the footings and build the platform structure!

Table of Grace Ministry – thank you for feeding our hungry community a free “love filled” lunch today.

New Women’s Study has begun…
Jeremiah offers women hope for living in an uncertain world by learning to navigate the challenges and circumstances of their lives. This 6 week study in the book of Jeremiah examines God’s words of instruction through the prophet for intentional living to overcome fear, worry, and doubt as we surrender our wills to God’s WILL and put our hope in God alone. The study is in the lower level of the MAC in the center Youth room space at 10 am.

Every gift given to the ministry of FUMC is greatly appreciated. We are trying to limit designated giving to only MAC Debt retirement and specified second mile giving that get lifted up in worship. You can rest assured that when you give to the General Fund, every ministry benefits from that gift. Thank you for your continued contributions of your time, talent, gifts, service and witness to the Kingdom of God.

Please continue to remember your Church in your legacy trusts & wills - that gift is also greatly appreciated!
