INCREDIBLE SUNDAY! Please join me in truly appreciating all our music ministries here in the life of our church. Jeff & Keith (with full choir and orchestra) led us through another outstanding Easter Cantata AND Eric and OVERFLOW at THE WELL told an amazing story in word and song through special arrangement (with our Youth presenting the extra readings) as we worshiped God together. Well done all the way around (and special thank you to Lynn Varian’s hospitality team providing the music ministry 60 people brunch in the 9:45 hour!) And thank you all for the wonderful comments about our very professional narration team - Holly Viccaro and Rich Hauschild - nice addition Jeff!

Also, you have got to come check out our new outdoor stage on the hill beside the children’s playground. Final construction was last Saturday. This is our Michael Bruce’s Eagle Scout project. On both construction days, I saw teams of people on the hill helping his dream become a reality under his direct guidance - thank you church for all you do in support of our Scouts. The Youth ministry (and Michael is one of those active youth) will be using that new stage for our youth led Sunrise service on Easter Sunday - April 21. It’s more than just a stage - it is a spiritual platform for life giving ministry - go see! There is a second Eagle scout project planned to make a “family friendly” burn pit further away from the new stage (can you just taste the smores?) Once that is in place, we will retire the current fire pit. We are looking forward to more outdoor activities on the hill in this new configuration.

Come be with us this Sunday as we encounter the beginning of Holy week this Palm Sunday. Bring your cameras, our children will be leading us into Holy week waving the palms! The rest of our Holy week plan can be seen in the details below. I must admit, it was fun having roughly 600 in worship this last Sunday. What might Easter bring this year? Have you noticed our new presence on the large digital billboards around town? Others apparently have! Thank you very much Teri McGinnis & Outreach. Tell your friends, tell everyone - EASTER is coming!

God’s Joy,
ps…thank you from our daughter in Colorado for the prayer quilt as she recovers from her recent surgery. So many knots, so much love, sew good!
