Welcome Emily Stafford!

We are SO excited to welcome Emily Stafford as the new Children’s Director at First Methodist. Emily is married to Will and they have two young daughters. They joined First Methodist in 2017 and have been active ever since. Emily served as co-director of VBS this summer, so you already know how talented she is. I look forward to her leadership in this role and how God will use her gifts through the church and in the community. Join me in welcoming Emily Stafford!

Church Morgan will be leading us through a study of 2 Corinthians. All FUMC men are invited to come and bring a friend.
Ladies Bible Study Begins September 11th… and will meet on Wednesday’s at 10:00am in room M-1 (lower level of the MAC). Ladies will be doing the study “ROMANS… Good News That Changes Everything” by Melissa Spoelstra… We live in a world full of bad news. The media recounts stories of natural disasters, violence, and conflict. In the midst of all this heartbreak, we can’t lose sight of the fact that God has given us good news. We call it the gospel. In this six-week study of the Book of Romans, we will be highlighting the good news about faith, grace, daily life, God’s plan, relationships, and eternity. Whatever bad news we may receive, in Romans we will find good news to encourage and transform us. Mark your calendar!

Nursery volunteers are needed during the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday services. Please contact Donna Fredericks @
