What a great day at worship across all services this past Sunday!

This week, don’t forget our next to last Wednesday night supper of the year. Join us for the meal beginning at 5 and then enjoy ministries for all ages following supper. This Sunday night at 6 pm you don’t want to miss our youth led Hanging of the Greens service when we prepare the sanctuary AND ourselves for the seasons of Advent and Christmas and begin to look forward to the coming of Christ. Come and see what holy mischief they’ve been working on and bring a friend! A reception for our youth will follow. Grace and Peace. Don

Hanging of the Greens! Join us as we gather in the sanctuary this coming Sunday, November 24th at 6:00pm as the youth bring forth a special message to help us begin the Advent season at FUMC. Union County’s Thanksgiving Community Dinner! In past years Union County’s Thanksgiving Community Dinner has provided a Thanksgiving Day meal to approximately 900 homebound, needy, elderly, and first responders on Thanksgiving Day. This year they are expecting to prepare and give out over 1000 meals. To assist, First Methodist will have volunteers helping to cook. If you would like to be a part of this important ministry to our community contact Ilke Lander by email at ilkelander@gmail.com There are volunteer opportunities on Monday the 25th and Tuesday the 26th! Also… If you or someone you know is in need of a Thanksgiving Dinner, one can be provided. Just call the church office and arrangements can be made for you to pick up, dine in or have a meal delivered on Thanksgiving day.
