11-26-2019 FUMC Tuesday Tickle A HUGE thank you to our youth for leading our Hanging of the Greens service on Sunday. It was a moving time of worship where we prepared ourselves and the sanctuary for the season of Advent as we look forward to the coming of Christ. Find out more about this season in our December newsletter. As Thanksgiving approaches, I also want you to know how thankful I am for God’s work in the life of this congregation. This Thanksgiving I am giving thanks for your giving spirit. In the last few weeks alone, you have shared nearly 250 coats with those in our community, 185 Christmas boxes with children around the world, and 21 Thanksgiving meals so that families in our area can celebrate that meal with their families in their homes. This is God at work in the world through you. Thank you! Don’t forget to count your blessings. Have a happy Thanksgiving. Don Union County’s Thanksgiving Community Dinner!
