Congrats and Thanks !
Congratulations to our very own Emily Stafford, Director of Children’s Ministries. Emily was selected as a Gainesville District Representative to Annual Conference for North Georgia this year. Way to go, Emily! We’re glad you’re here…and that you’ll be there!
A big thanks to Wayne Jones for refurbishing and updating the cross, flame, and sign at the main entrance to the church campus. It looks great and, as I and many others have noted, really pops!
Many thanks from the church staff to Ro and the Robinettes for providing the staff and their families lunch this past Sunday. It was wonderful! Thanks so much. Creme brûlée, y’all. Creme brûlée.
Don’t forget Wednesday night activities. The meal starts at 5, but join us when you can. Activities for children, youth, and adults begin at 6 pm. For the pastor’s Bible study, bring a Bible, whether it is paper or pixels. If you don’t have one, we’ll have one for you.
Also, I’ll have Beyond the Office Hours this Thursday from 3-4:30 at Cabin Coffee on the square. This is a drop-in, casual affair offering a chance for us to visit.
See you soon,
Don
