As our nation continues to reel following the events from one week ago today, please continue to pray for our country. In a time when we’ve lost our way, when we’ve strayed from the path of who we are as a nation, I’m drawn to this verse from the psalm in my prayers.
Also, the Bishop released a video in response to the riots from an extended cabinet meeting earlier this week. She offers a prophetic and pastoral word and I commend it to your viewing. The link is:

Lord,
make me an instrument of thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Go and be instruments of peace, in the name of the Prince of Peace.
