A Service of Prayer and Healing
Good morning church,
Just a reminder that our Service of Prayer and Healing is tonight at 6 pm in the sanctuary. The simple service will include scripture and reflection. This will be a time of prayer for all and of anointing for those who wish to be.
Join us as the Spirit leads you.
Grace and Peace.
Join FirstKids families at the Meeks Park Splash Pad every Wednesday at noon. Bring your sunscreen and snacks and join in the fun. Text Danielle Snider at 706 662 4092 with questions.
It’s Our 6th Annual…
“Backpack 2 School Bash”
Saturday, August 7th  10am - 1pm In the MAC!
Last year this Community event provided backpacks and school supplies for over 400 children in Union County. FUMC of Union County helped provide many of those backpacks. This year our church is again collecting primary aged (kgarten - grade 2) backpacks as well as general supplies on the lists attached to the purple drop off boxes located in the MAC lobby and Sanctuary narthex. COLLECTION BOXES ARE OUT! Thank you in advance for helping provide needed school supplies for children and families in Union County. If you would prefer to donate directly to the event you can drop your donation off in the treasure chests and label it for “Backpacks”. Any questions on how you can help further call Tricia Wallace at 229-402-9361.

2021 Fall Festival!
Can You Help? Yes! We are back and help is again needed! This year’s Fall Festival dates are Friday, October 8th & Saturday, October 9th. Volunteers are needed in each area. Call Stan at the church office if you would like to help! Crafters, we are counting on you to help us with items as well as ya’ll who put away Jams and Jellies for the Country Store. We will also be back with our Bakery, Candy Shoppe, Silent Auction, Treasure Sale, and Clothing Sale. Mark your calendars! Remember… all proceeds from our Festival go toward retiring our MAC debt. Everybody has a part to play! Start working now!
Our community feeding the hungry program is re-activating. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact the church office.
We are beginning to think about bringing our MAC receptionists back to work. These are people who sit at the MAC desk, answer the phone, and greet people as they enter. There are 2 shifts per day; 9-noon and noon-3 pm. If you are interested in helping out with this ministry for one shift per month, please contact Evelyn in the church office.
