Good Afternoon Church!

This Sunday at worship we begin a series on the Ten Commandments. The decalogue is often thought of as merely a list of do’s and don’ts (and mostly don’ts at that). More than that though, the “Big Ten” are ultimately about our relationships, with God and with others. Join us for worship and invite others as we hear more about loving God and loving our neighbor.

We will have a church-wide supper THIS Wednesday on the 15th.

Menu is hotdogs, mac ‘n cheese with cookies.

The meal will be served inside.

Afterwards (weather permitting) there will be a family pick up game of kickball.

Those not participating are encouraged to stay and rout for your favorite team.

On the Case VBS: Children dig into a few of Jesus’ parables to solve the mysteries of how to grow their faith, how to care for, serve, and love others. They’ll discover that the answers have been there all along: spend time with God, spend time with others, use your gifts, and share your story.

There will be a meeting THIS Wednesday night at 6 pm for those interested in planning our community-wide July 4th celebration.Anyone interested in helping with the plan and execution of this event is welcome.

This Saturday, 18th the men will join the Trustees for a workday on campus in preparation of our July 4th celebration.

Children’s Church is BACK !!! Beginning this Sunday, Children’s Church will be offered at 9:30 am AND 11:00 am. Children will be dismissed to go to Children’s Church after the Children’s Time in those services. Parents can pick their child(ren) up from the Children’s wing afterwards.

We are in need to volunteers to help teach these little ones. If you’re interested, please contact Mason Schuknecht @ jar 0514@hotmail.com.

Can you spot what’s missing from this picture?

What’s missing are teachers and students. Now, we have students enrolled to come in August. What we don’t have are all the teachers.

We are looking for teacher and aide positions to be filled for the upcoming school year. Perhaps you are looking for a part-time job with little ones or perhaps you know of someone else who would be perfect for this job? Please help us pass this information along.

Past teaching experience is preferred but will provide training.

Applicant must be 18 years or older, and have a passion for working with young children and sharing the love of Jesus.

Position is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 8:30- 12:30pm during the school year (August -May).

We will be having a blood drive here on Sunday morning, July 10th beginning at 9 am. More details to come.

There will be a CPR class offered on Saturday, August 13th at 9:00 am. Closer to time there will be a sign up sheet.
