02-15-2023 FUMC Words for Wednesday

Many, many thanks to all who made Night to Shine such a wonderful time! Thanks especially to Scott and Elizabeth Terry for organizing the event (and us!) and providing amazing leadership. It was a wonderful celebration of God’s love and the life he has shared with all.

All of us have heard of the devastation from the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Please continue to pray for all those affected. If you’d like to do more, you can do so by supporting UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) that is providing tents, heaters, blankets, clothes, ready-to-eat meals, and first aid kits.

You can donate to UMCOR through any United Methodist Church. Please note Advance #982450 for International Disaster Response on your gift. You can also give at this link –  https://advance.umcmission.org/p-641-umcor-international.

You can read more at – umcmission.org/mission-priority/humanitarian/umcor-response-to-earthquakes-in-turkey-and-syria/.

Thank you for being the Church in so many ways!

Peace.

Don
