03-22-2023 FUMC Words for Wednesday

Good morning Church!

Here are all the ways you can plug into worship in the next few weeks.

This Sunday, March 26, our chancel choir along with the orchestra will present the cantata, The Song Everlasting, in the sanctuary at 8:30 and 11 am. At our contemporary service at The Well at 9:30 am, Overflow will lead us in worship as we journey to the cross and beyond. You don’t want to miss either one!

On April 2, we will observe Palm and Passion Sunday at all services as we begin Holy Week.

On April 6, our interactive Maundy Thursday begins at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.

The sanctuary will be open from 9 am to 6 pm on Good Friday (7th) for prayer.

Then, on Easter Sunday, April 9, our youth will lead us as we begin our day of worship at the Sunrise Service at 7 am on the hill. Worship continues throughout the morning at all three services as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Like some bridesmaids we heard about on Sunday, you don’t want to miss it!

See you Sunday,

Don

Bible Study for all ages begins at 6 pm.

Wednesday Night suppers will resume on the 5th. The meal will be lasagna (both veggie and meat), salad and dessert. Meal begins at 5 pm.

Our Youth Ministry is looking for some adult volunteers to help April with their activities. If you are willing please contact her at april.leigh27@gmail.com or 404 360 5966.

We will have a Maundy Thursday service on the 6th at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. We will walk with Jesus as he has entered Jerusalem and gathered with his Apostles.

Good Friday, 7th the church doors will be open from 9 am to 6 pm to have personal worship in the sanctuary.
