05-10-2023 FUMC Words for Wednesday

Don’t forget this Sunday is Mother’s Day. Every year on this day, churches in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church have received a special offering supporting the ministry of Wesley Woods. Your generous support funds financial assistance for meals and housing to residents who have the gift of long life but may have outlived their resources. The Mother’s Day Offering also supports on-site chaplains and an innovative wellness program. One of the communities of Wesley Woods, Branan Lodge, is even in our own backyard here in Blairsville.

Also this Sunday, the Morning Glory Circle will be selling fudge for $5 per package after each service. All proceeds will go to support Isaiah 117 House.

What great ways to support folks across the generations here in our community!

See you Sunday,

Don
