Church Family…

Tricia and I want you to know how blessed we have been to have served with you at FUMC Union County over the past 14 years! What a privilege it has been to share the journey of faith with you. We will always count it among our deepest joys. Even in sad times, it has been a blessing to support each other in these moments. Our lives have been interwoven in the fabric of service to our Lord. Christians are often referred to as brothers and sisters. John 1:12 says, “Yet to all who did receive him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” You, the church, are our brothers and sisters. We are children of God, loved by our Father, and this will never change.

We want to thank you for all of the cards, the gifts, the kind words, the “Farewell Supper” and the other tokens of love we have received in recent days. This Sunday the 21st will be our last Sunday with you. Thursday the 25th will be my last day in the office. In the coming weeks Tricia and I will be relocating to Alabama to be close to kids and grandkids. We are excited to be entering this new season of life. We will be visiting from time to time so we don’t say “goodbye”. We say “we will see you soon”.

Thank you for loving, challenging, encouraging, and nurturing us these past years. Thank you for calling us to serve along side you and be used by God together.

Matthew 24 says “Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved” . Stand firm!

Love and blessings, now and always,

Stan and Tricia

The church has 2 AEDs in our building. One is located on the wall across from the MAC desk. One is on the wall behind the narthex desk. In the event that someone is having a cardic event, someone should call 9-1-1 and another grab the AED. These are self-explanatory machines that will tell you if you need to shock the patient’s heart into rhythm. Instructions are step by step and are vocalized. Please familiarize yourself as to their locations.
