6th week - Anticipation of Advent

We will have the Christmas Card table set up down the administration hall by Sunday. You may “mail” your Christmas cards to your church friends without having to use postage. Just place them by the appropriate letter of their last name. Please, Please, make sure your cards are addressed to attending members. Our membership has changed, and the cards are NOT mailed out if they aren’t picked up.
Help Us make the Vogel Tree Lighting a huge success. At the annual tree lighting, refreshments are given away to the crowd. We have been asked to help supply cookies for the event. If you can, please bake or buy a batch of cookies and bring them to the church by Thursday, December 7th. Please bring the cookies in a non-returnable container and mark if the cookies have nuts. Thank you.The tree lighting is December 9th. This is a simple way for us to give back and support the community as they have given to us.

It is with a personally sad and heavy heart that I share that Joe Roach passed away last night. I imagine he had a wonderful reunion in heaven with his soulmate Billie, along with his Lord and Savior Jesus. Sometime in the future they both will be buried in the Georgia National Cemetary in Canton. Please keep their sons and their families in your prayers. ~ Evelyn
