Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On one night, February 8, 2019, more than 500 churches from around the world will come together to host Night to Shine for approximately 90,000 honored guests through the support of 175,000 volunteers!

First United Methodist Church of Union County is once again proud to be an official host church for the 2019 Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Note that each guest requires a release waiver from First United Methodist Church and a Media Rights Release form from the Tim Tebow Foundation. These forms are attached to this web page in PDF form. Night to Shine is a night for the churches to shine, the volunteers to shine, our honored guests to shine, and most importantly, God to shine!



Volunteer Information

The Tim Tebow Foundation and First United Methodist Church of Union County (FUMC) need to make sure that the Night to Shine is a safe place for all who participate. To that end all volunteers are required to:

  1. Have a Background check.
  2. Attend a Safe Sanctuary training session.
